Sudan Child Fund

SDN fundraised to support a range of Child empowerment initiatives across Sudan during the Holy Month of Ramadan, the month of giving. With the generous support of donors, we raised over $18,000 and collaborated with the following organizations: 

(1)    Barana Hanabneiho  - rehabilitating the Al-Jabada primary school in Sennar to provide a better environment by building new classrooms, registering new students, and providing essential school supplies.

(2)    The Wishing Well Company - community development project involved providing sustainable drinking water by building an urgently needed Well in Al Geneina Secondary school for girls in West Darfur State. 

(3)    Fill A Heart X SDN - Hope project aimed to provide children in orphanages with an environment where they can fully thrive. Funds went towards building a new playground at the Maygoma Orphanage in Khartoum. 

(4)    UMST Students Initiative - Malnutrition Healthcare Center Renovation project in Traah Albeja, Al-Klakla, provided urgently needed malnutrition diagnostic equipment and helped improve the environmental conditions within the center.
